If you don't empower any of them its a little over 400, again assuming deathless and no failures.Īnd that's on top of the gems you already level up for your own build. More if you fail on any individual gem-up or die in any of them since that takes away one gem upgrade. To match the level 125 augments we get right now, realize that grind is a *minimum* of 325 empowered GRs for a full set of augments (13, one for each slot). there's always going to be a new OP incentive to play seasons so as long as the game evolves just a little bit to keep things interesting, i think it's fine. i think these small season specific features just help them test possible ideas for future seasons. I mean, i think part of the way they're doing seasons now does make it more compelling to give it a try just to check out the OP seasonal benefit and change how one might play the game slightly different.Īlso, i don't think it will be problematic for future seasons. i still need normal gems and ancients and thus far, i've only really worked on one character seriously in this regard. but what i like is because the new gems does provide that easy augments, i have that option to go for them. there's other things i can grind in addition to augments and i found myself making 6 characters this season just to check out the new gems for different builds. i've played so many seasons that at this stage i prefer to get in and get out (just because i'm pretty busy otherwise). I personally like what this season offered.
